56 Music Fix is taking over Mount Prospect for three straight days of live music, and Friday night at Station 34 just got a serious upgrade.
We’re kicking off the weekend with three bands, starting with party-ready rock, moving into ’90s/2000s alternative and grunge, and ending the night with national touring Nashville artist Kelly Daniels.
Friday’s Lineup
4:30 PM — Awfully Good
Awfully Good is bringing the PARTY with energetic rock twists on well-known songs. Their signature Ballistic Ballads are built for singing loud, drinking cold and starting the weekend a little earlier than planned.
7 PM — Reality Bytes
Reality Bytes returns to Station 34 with a heavy dose of ’90s and 2000s alternative and grunge rock. Their last show here earned one of our favorite reviews: “So worth the hangover.”

9:30 PM — Kelly Daniels Band
This one is BIG.
National touring artist Kelly Daniels is coming in from Nashville to close out Friday night at Station 34.
Raised on Chicago’s South Side and now based in Nashville, Daniels brings real blue-collar grit to a modern country sound loaded with classic country soul, rock attitude and serious stage energy.
He’s opened for Morgan Wallen at Wrigley Field and has shared bills and stages with names including Garth Brooks, Darius Rucker, Joe Nichols, Lauren Alaina, Bret Michaels, Vince Neil, Shinedown and more.
And he isn’t coming alone.
Daniels will be joined by acclaimed songwriter Danny Wells, whose songs have been recorded by George Strait, Rascal Flatts, Craig Morgan, John Michael Montgomery, Sara Evans, Jo Dee Messina and others, with more than 15 million American radio spins to his credit.
This is the kind of show you normally expect to find on a much bigger stage.
We’re putting it in Station 34.

Three days. Eleven bands. And one hell of a Friday night.
The Space
First, the space itself features gorgeous exposed 2-story tall brick walls giving it a very industrial feel. The bar spans most of the length of the building featuring a fully stocked assortment of drinks including, but not limited to wine, domestic and craft beer, 24 draft taps, top name liquors, and more. Guests at the bar can enjoy a full wall of TV screens to catch the latest sporting events and more. The dining area has a variety of seating options featuring booths, bar height tables, and dining tables. Also, there’s an outdoor patio to enjoy when the weather is nice and a gaming machine section to win big! The second floor looks over the main floor area, making it a great place to watch live bands from a distance. The upstairs features dining tables, a small bar, and a private event space available for rent.
Activities
Also, Station 34 loves to host parties and gatherings for all purposes! You can often find live bands playing at the front of the bar on the weekends. The large span of TV’s across the bar and throughout the venue are a great way to catch all the big games and matches of your favorite sporting teams and players. Gaming Machines on the main level offer a great way to win big while having fun! Need a venue to rent out for your next party or meeting? Station 34 offers the small private event room, the entire upstairs, as well as the entire bar to be rented out for your events.
Food and Drinks
Last but not least, Chef Alex has truly changed the game for the food at Station 34. The menu now features some insanely delicious food. There’s something for everyone! The menu features Detroit Style pizza, sliders, wings, burgers, tacos, bowls, pastas, soups, handhelds, appetizers, and more! There are vegetarian and gluten free options available. Check out our menus on our website and Facebook, but be prepared to drool at just the descriptions themselves. Come on in to try it out, or order for delivery! We offer delivery within a 5 mile radius. Station 34 also offers catering and banquet menus to feed your guests of any events!
